About Author: Rachel A. Bollinger

Rachel A. BollingerRachel A. Bollinger gave her life to Christ when she was eight years old. As a people pleaser, it was easy for her to slip into a “good girl” role and follow the rules. She did this for many years, but it wasn’t until 1991, when she was diagnosed with a rare muscle disease and quickly found that she was disabled, that she understood her need for something deeper. As she learned to deal with her new normal, she also learned that God wanted more than a good girl who followed the rules. He wanted a relationship with her. This relationship has grown, and sharing God’s desire for a relationship with other women has become her passion.

Rachel is a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators and is serving at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, NC as the JAARS Chaplain for Women. She also facilitates a weekly Bible study with women from various churches. She loves to entertain and regularly shares her home with the women in her neighborhood to develop relationships with them.

Rachel’s writing is an expression of her journey through tough times that lead her to deepen her understanding of and love for her Lord. Check out her Amazon Author page.
