Proofreading is customarily the next stage for a manuscript after it has been copyedited. This is that final step, that last review of your manuscript before it’s published. If you have invested in yourself and your manuscript by enlisting the services of a Write Hand Services copy editor, your copy editor will now proofread your manuscript for typos, spelling, grammar, punctuation, usage, and style issues that slipped by, while rewrites and edits were taking place.
On the other hand, if, before coming to Write Hand Services, you already have edited, rewritten, edited, rewritten, and edited your manuscript to the point you can’t stand the thought of doing it one more time, then proofreading would be exactly what you need so you can submit your manuscript for publication with the confidence of knowing you have a professional manuscript ready to go to print.
If you have Write Hand Services do your copyediting as one of our services, proofreading is built into the editing estimate. Once we have edited your manuscript, we will send it back to you to review and approve the edits. When you have made adjustments to your project, you send it back to us and our proofreaders review it one final time to make sure all the edits were addressed and the manuscript is ready for printing.
Left Hand Publishers is NOT a vanity press. We will never ask the writer for an investment or to pay any part of the cost of being published. We provide our publishing services as a percentage of revenue which we participate in, once the work sells. Optional Services are available to writers who need assistance in getting their manuscripts and/or their marketing tools honed for a successful and profitable publishing experience. For various consulting services, outside of publishing, we will provide an estimate in advance at no charge. For more information, contact us at .
